Cardology Case Study #7: How 10♣️ Angela Bassett found her true love through her Q♥️ Moon Card

On its own, the Moon stands as a representation of our emotions. It waxes and wanes, comes and goes, just like every feeling we ever experience. In cardology, the Moon Card shows us how we should honor our emotions based on our individual identities. Angela Bassett shows us the power of our Moon Card through her journey as an actress, and the example that she has set for marriages worldwide.

"When we avoid feeling our feelings through escapism or suppression, we create wounds on a physical and spiritual level."

Moon Card: How we are emotionally supported, how we express our emotions, and who is our best potential match in relationships.

What is the purpose of your emotions?

As you read this blog I invite you to keep two words in the forefront of your mind: rational and irrational.

When someone is being rational, they are thinking with logic and directness. They understand that there is a problem that needs to be resolved, and they are working on a solution that fits the problem. When someone is being irrational, they are being emotional. They are making impulsive decisions based on how they are feeling. Typically we strive to be rational instead of irrational, however, the key to making logical decisions is honoring your emotions first.

The top six emotions that we relate to on a daily basis are joy, sadness, anger, disgust, fear, and surprise. (The movie Inside Out gave a great explanation of this. I recommend everyone, children and adults, to watch it at least 3 times). Each emotion serves a purpose however we typically associate joy with being the most desired emotion.

The journey to joy is layered with every other emotion. Emotions help us understand our boundaries, develop our personalities, and discover what parts of us are still being healed. When we avoid feeling our feelings through escapism or suppression, we create wounds on a physical and spiritual level.

If we do not make time to feel our emotions in a healthy way, our emotions will find a way out one way or another. This is when we start making irrational decisions. When we make important decisions that are emotionally based instead of logically based, the foundation we are looking to create becomes weak because emotions are not meant to be our base. They are temporary and fickle.

If you notice that you are struggling to find healthy ways to feel your emotions, it’s time to investigate your Moon Card. Today, Angela Bassett is going to help us do just that!

Angela and her Moon Card

Angela Bassett, Queen of Wakanda, was born on August 16th, 1958. Her Birth Card is a 10♣️ which makes her Moon Card a Q♥️. Hearts are the suits mostly in tune with emotions. Having a heart suit in the placement of her Moon Card means that Angela feels deeply and expresses herself loudly.

She has found an amazing outlet for expressing her emotions on a daily basis, which is her calling as an actress. Her Moon Card draws her toward more passionate roles that tug at our heartstrings. Combine that energy with the fire of her Leo zodiac sign and it can be said that Angela was born to proclaim loudly and proudly the emotional side of the human experience.

My video below goes into more detail about the Moon Card and Sun Card relationship which is called the Moon Connection.

The Moon Connection

In this lifetime, Angela was gifted with her husband Courtney B. Vance. Courtney has a Q♥️ Planetary Ruler Card. This means that Angela and Courtney have a Moon Connection.

Below is a photo of the power couple at a book signing in 2007 for their book, Friends: A Love Story

When you find someone who has a Birth Card, or Planetary Ruler Card, that matches your Moon Card, then you have found a strong Moon Connection. A Moon Connection means that you have someone who has the cosmic power, and oftentimes the desire, to emotionally support you. This connection could also mean that you have the power and desire to emotionally support your partner.

It can be said that having a Moon Connection is more important than having a Venus Connection with someone.

A Venus Connection will tell you that you are attracted to someone and that you could imagine a romantic life with them. It will also tell you how to love one another throughout your relationship. When you have a Moon Connection, you have someone who has the role of helping you handle one of the biggest parts of your existence; emotional expression and control. This role surpasses the Venus Connection because it is bigger than marriage, family, and romance. The Moon Connection is about the underlying support and understanding of every facet of your life.
